- Other applicants, including those pursuing undergraduate, Higher National Diploma (HND), and National Certificate of Education (NCE) programs, should be registered as full-time students in their second year or beyond at Universities operated by the federal or state governments, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
- Undergraduate scholarship applicants, including individuals with disabilities, must demonstrate a minimum Cumulative Grade point aggregate (CGPA) of 4.0 on a five-point scale or 5.0 on a seven-point scale, or equivalent.
- Candidates pursuing NCE and HND programs are required to maintain a CGPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.”

All applicants, including individuals with disabilities, must have completed at least their second year of study. Furthermore, individuals currently benefiting from any existing scholarship program are not eligible for consideration.”
