Reports suggest that Barcelona is considering offering Manchester United’s forward, Mason Greenwood, their renowned No.10 shirt.

Greenwood, currently on loan at Getafe following United’s approval in the last hour of the summer transfer window, has been out of action for United since his arrest in January 2022.

Despite the charges being dropped in February, United, after an internal investigation, decided that Greenwood needed to rebuild his career away from Old Trafford.

Thriving on loan at Getafe, the 22-year-old has scored three goals and provided four assists in 14 La Liga appearances this season.

Barcelona, closely monitoring Greenwood’s performances, is reportedly planning a £40 million move for the upcoming summer.

As a significant incentive, they are willing to offer Greenwood the iconic No.10 shirt, worn during Lionel Messi’s prime era at Camp Nou.

Greenwood is reportedly open to staying in Spain beyond the current season and would be willing to join Barcelona.

Xavi’s team currently holds the fourth position in La Liga, trailing seven points behind Real Madrid and Girona.
