Manchester United are reportedly considering a hefty asking price of £40-50 million for Jadon Sancho in the upcoming summer transfer window, as revealed by sources to Football Insider.

Sancho, currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund due to a fallout with United manager Erik ten Hag, faces uncertainty regarding his future. Dortmund’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, has cast doubt on the possibility of a permanent return, describing negotiations as “very, very difficult.”

Despite Sancho’s decreased valuation since his £73 million move to United in 2021, the Red Devils remain steadfast in demanding a significant fee for the winger. Additionally, his substantial wages of £250,000 per week present a potential hurdle for Dortmund.

Since rejoining Dortmund in January, Sancho has contributed two assists in three appearances. However, his season with United started with promise before a public dispute with Ten Hag led to his exile from the squad in September.

Sancho’s contract with United runs until June 2026, adding further complexity to potential transfer negotiations.
