Left-back Ramy Bensebaini from Borussia Dortmund has expressed his keen interest in joining Manchester United as the Red Devils seek reinforcements in the upcoming January transfer window.

With United facing the urgency to turn their season around and secure a top-four finish in the Premier League, Bensebaini is viewed as a potential solution to bolster the squad.

Given Luke Shaw’s frequent usage as a center-back under Erik ten Hag and Sergio Reguilon’s yet-to-impress loan stint, Bensebaini could offer valuable depth to the squad for the remainder of the season.

The 30-year-old left-back sees the possibility of a move to Manchester United positively, stating in an interview with Algerian outlet La Gazette du Fennec, “As for Manchester United, we’ll see.

I’m slowly getting older, I’m [nearly] 30 years old now, but we’ll see. God willing!”

In addition to Bensebaini, Donyell Malen, another Dortmund player, is reportedly open to a move to Old Trafford.

Having been signed as Jadon Sancho’s replacement by the German club, Malen could potentially step in to fill the void left by the sidelined Sancho at Manchester United.

Speculation even suggests the prospect of a swap deal involving the two players, providing an intriguing transfer scenario between the two clubs.

Sancho’s tenure at Manchester United appears to be definitively over after a fallout with ten Hag, who criticized the player for inadequate training practices.
